Madhuri Dixit has finally liked a script and signed on for a film - Satte Pe Satta Remake – opposite Sunjay Dutt. [via Bollywood Hungama]
The US based star, who was actively being sought by producers, had turned down many bigger banner offers - difficult decisions, we are sure - before giving a nod to Satte Pe Satta Remake.
Ironically, her ultimate choice must have been a no brainer as the 1982 film directed by Raj Sippy headlined Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini, besides being a box office success. Why would you need to think before stepping into the always demure Hema Malini's shoes, or pumps, whatever.
Dutt will play Bachchan's role in the remake.
Dutt and Dixit have earlier co-starred in films such as Saajan, Khalnayak and Thanedaar.
The remake is being produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. in partnership with Sanjay Dutt Productions.
